Shaver Lake is a gem hugged by pine forest in the granite-studded Sierra Nevada Mountains. From granite domes to home of the Trophy Trout fishing lake, pine forests to alpine meadows, there’s something for everyone through all seasons. Shaver Lake is located up in the Western Sierra Mountains at about 5600 elevations outside Fresno California and is part of the Southern California Edison power project that feeds into the Big Creek power station. People from all over come to visit the area to take in the fresh air and natural beauty of this mountain community which is a starting point to abundance of nature seeking activities happening in the Sierra National Forest, Kaiser Wilderness, Dinkey Lakes and John Muir Wilderness, which surrounds this unique mountain community. Come explore all this area has to offer.
